Von Mircosoft gibt es für den hauseigenen MP3- und Medienplayer Zune eine neue Version der Client-Software.
Die Zune 3.0 Client Software bringt alle Features der aktuellen Generation auch auf Geräte der ersten Generation.
Microsoft versucht mit dem Zune den Erfolg von Apples iPods einzuholen, scheint aber nicht wirklich gegen Apple anzukommen. Dabei sind die Geräte, und vor allem der neue Zune, technisch durchaus ausgereift. Eventuell bessert sich die Situation nun mit Zune 3.0.
